Rookie mistake

This morning before work I threw a few cast and got bit by a slot red. Threw him back and noticed my line was alittle rough but i didnt re-tie..to big of a hurry. Threw out again to have a big tug,five second fight,than pop. One jig head and late to work..

Hey, maybe if you took the time to retie that nice one would have been somewhere else by then. Or an even bigger one may have been there. You just never know.

I know...i had visons of tags all day...i dont use shocks when i use light jigs. Ive had 25 flo break on tops too. Just one of those things.

Yeah I went to run/test my boat yesterday told mama I would be home in 2 hours somehow my rods jumped in the truck boat ran great and caught 2 rat reds and a couple good flounder it took way more than 2 hrs[emoji106]
