Yep, gotta do the daddy thing Bro. It's worth far more to bond with him than go on any regular fishing trip.

I grew up in Lake Tahoe and we used the powerbait with the leader and #16 trebel hook. We limit out every time we go and always outfish everyone around. I used to do the corn and soak it in the green scent spray that you could get at Academy, but powerbait is just so much easier.

Lets take the kids on Saturday and yak Sunday morning or vice versa. BTW I purchased some yellow and pink powerbait but Academy did not have the treble hooks.

One of my finer moments this year was I went camping with the girl scouts and I helped the girls fish. We caught a bunch of bluegill and I got several thanks from parents thanking me for showing their girl how much fun it is to fish.

One the sons came too, and I showed him how to take a bluegill, clean him, stick'em and then roast him for dinner. The girls were envious, but the scout master was holding them to task and wouldn't let them catch a bluegill and cook one. That bluegill sure was good.

Unfortunately, mind is just not interested. Well, at least my son likes to fish unless there's an all night xbox event going on...lol
