      Lmao. The Democrats I fish with shun live bait. If you can't catch fish on lures, go sit in the line at Boyd's. If they don't run out before you score, go find the hardhead hole. LSM.

                  Good luck Butch and remember what I said about Shell Isle when running to West End marina-you don't want to run into it-usually about 1' underwater on normal tides. Google earth and your plotter are your best friends in west bay.

                    Robalo knows of what he speaks. I've been fishin west bay for many years and only got stuck once, right there. Late afternoon, Not paying attention, had the future Mrs. on board. Pretty embarrassing. I sucked up a ton of shell trying to motor it off. Passing boat pulled me 10 feet forward and I was free. I give it a wide berth now.
