When the roofer comes by for his estimate he will ask for the insurance adjustment paper. They know all to well what each insurance company allows and will bid it where you wont have out of pocket deductions.
Make sure that a State Farm adjuster comes back and does the wind storm inspection. And they will. The guy came by when the roofer was doing mine and sat back and watched and counted the nails and how they laid the ridge and valleys.
Made the roofer mad as hell but their bid was for wind storm repairs.
My neighbor set his video camera up and ran it on his job.
