I was gifted with an old family name of Scottish origin. It means game warden in Scots Gaelic. Going back as far as I can, all the first born sons were given this name . . . . and none of them went by it. My grandfather's nickname was Sandy, and my mother bestowed it upon me along with the family curse. My cousin goes by Happy. Glad I didn't get that one. Some people know the name, but I prefer it to be left in the dark.

Ok, after careful study of the hourly weather charts, it looks like things won't be really good until about 5pm. So I'm making the call that we should just shoot for Sunday morning. I have an immense amount of work to do here on my house anyway. I'll plan on a 9am launch Sunday Morning. VJER got him a little pig so we have ribs and pork shoulder. I'll have stuff for a boil and Monday morning breakfast as well.

VJER and I will be launching around 9am Sunday morning. He'll get to work with the chainsaw and I'll load up the Mudda full and start ferrying debris. Bountyhunter will arrive around 2pm to get the trailer loaded and down to the guys with the bonfire on the beach. SCHU called and sent his regrets. He can't make it this weekend. Not sure about TMO and company or TwoMack either at this point. FISHNNUT and company may make it out. FlatoutFishin' is in for Monday. If anyone can come out and help Sunday or Monday, just let me know. Almost everyone here has my phone number.

Just to be clear, I will not ask anyone to put any debris in their boat. No boat finishes will be messed up in this endeavour. If you come out to help, all of it will be going out in the Ugly Mudda, so don't worry about that. - Sandy
