It was quite sporty out here at SLP. The bug zapper is toast. I'd say easily 50mph winds.

I have myself parked on the ferry now headed back to Galveston , then onward to Houston . Forecast said possible rain so I got a late start . Couldn't put my kayak in until about noon due to rain . Windy all day .
DPOP , you fish the tournament today ? A tough fishing day .

LMAO...... 70mph wind was dead on. We ditched the boat and stood under a house for an hour. For 30 minutes didn't know if the boat blew away or not. One of the worst storm I have been caught in as far as wind goes. Brutal conditions but we did catch fish before and after the storms.

Yea it was bad out there. We were going for cover in sea isle and when we hit the no wake zone is when the wind hit. We didn't know about the extended hours til weigh in.
