  • Boston whaler restoration

My twin brother and I purchased a 1966 17' Boston whaler mountak from one of our good buddies drue mcginty, right now we are in the midst of restoring it! We have fiber glasses a deck onto the from to give us more dry storage and to make the anchor box bigger.we are planning on putting texture paint in the front. We also made and installed cooler brackets onto the front that fit a 45 quart yeti. We have completely sanded down the inside and reprimed it so we can get ready to paint. We took off the console to rewire everything and to keep it more organized. Also have w custom burn bar that we have ordered. Can't wait to get it done and down to west bay! Should have it complete in the next 3 weeks! More pics coming soon. Sorry for the sideways pics, I don't why it does that.

Update: finally got some paint on this weekend! Painted the inside of the hull with two thick coats of interlux one part polyurethane topside paint and painted the top deck and storage latch with kiwi grip non skid paint. Planning on webbing all of the textured areas with black paint and trimming the storage latch and anchor latch with aluminum flat bar.
