ice on bayou vista canal

i looked out this morning and noticed a thin film of ice in the canal. it's actually moving along w/ the outgoing tide. there's ice around my pilings in places. i took a few pics. it wasn't there the morning before, but i also have frost too.

I saw the same thing. I took some pics as well. There would have been a lot more over the weekend, but the wind kept is stirred up then.

i was wondering if it had to do w/ the frost this am since it wasn't as cold?
i walked to the main canal and there were patches of ice on the sides. still no fish though.

The diversionary was iced over the last two mornings. So far mullet have been the only casualties.

just came from alvin and the customers had a horse trough as a gold fish pond and the whole thing was solid ice aleast three inchs thick..i all i could think was wow.

That did not happen in Terramar, but there was lots of frost on the houses. I still have my engine covered Michelle, thanks to you.

i never covered my engine. it had a bit of frost on it this am. i may crank it in the am and charge the battery for awhile.

I went ahead and charged the batteries over night, so we should be ready to roll the next time we are out there.

Ice in the canal the last two mornings. More this morning than last. No fish kill here that I can see.
