Have you made a copy of your GPS data or just too busy?

Just had a buddy have CaptJohn take his old garmin 168 and make a copy of all his data for 9 years and give him a copy. Took less than 20 minutes with some BS involved from both parties.

Another buddy that had over 500 hours Garmin 172 information and was going to get around to backing it up one day when he had time.
He kept putting it off and just ended up having his house burglarized and there went non replaceable information from East Bay to Baffin gone.

Think that Mapsourse BlueChart will no longer support the older system much longer.

You need the new updated version of Mapsourse to save the data to your Blue chart.

Wise man. I guess one would have the information on how to back up in one's instruction booklet ? And probably have another backup in a different location , say in the trusted hands of a dependable, trustworthy friend who wouldn't steal all your secret honeyholes - like me for instance !! Hey, if you can't trust a professionl doctor dentist, who can you trust ?

Hey Plugger You know that I am a dentist too so we both must be trustworthy. ?)

I plan to try to keep a copy safe for him on my 545. Heck the buddy can probably run Fat Boys and all the reefs in West Bay in the dark but... think the fog might have got him couple of weeks ago.

The other buddy had E and W Matty as well as this buddy does Galveston system.

Maybe Steve will let us backup a copy of his.
