Left the ramp at Seabrook about 7:15 headed north to my target area, sting ray and a keeper slimer and one very small croaker.
The fish finder was marking a few fish out there but waves started to become a problem so I moved south of clear lake and into
3-5 feet of water , nothing , worked the sailboat club dock , nothing stopped at old parkers reef and the old powerplant park area.
Nothing. ( that ramp is in about 2' of water at normal tide. ) Very shallow out there. Noticed there was a boat at the blown out RV park
pier, they did not stay long. Checked the southern cement breaker, its 3 feet and clear of debrie the last 1/2 anyway. Had some fun
with side sonar looking for submersed junk. Back to clearlake channel, I have been working behind that single little white house on
the north side, burning dead shrimp , burning time watching the boats come and go and I caught what looked like a copper head
colored sea snake. That think wrapped its self up and even without a head would not let go. I thew it on ice , they make great cut
bait , they do not come apart just like stingray . I had some problems with pot-lickers there , but I didnt care , I was on the end of my day ( noon ) and had nothing more going on than soaping down entire boat.
