Gotta Go Fishing Tomorrow

It's Spring Break and I must go fishing. I have not been since last Summer, time to go! Therefore, I will be walking into the East End Lagoon tomorrow morning between 7:30am-8am. If, like me, you just want to wet a line you are welcome to join me. I'm not promising fish or anything else, just an opportunity to fish and possibly learn something new or different. I will start on the end of the Lagoon next to the street(Boddeker Rd) that leads to east Beach. Hopefully the trout will cooperate and crush my Spook Jr!! As always, Salsa's opens at 11 and I plan on being one of their first customers as well.

Yeah, I had a lemon tree loaded with fruit lean over. I had to wire it to the fence.

I released her to go produce more like her. Anyone guess what I caught that one on? Tide started coming in and it was green. Beautiful day out. Couple teenagers caught a 16" keeper and one of the kayakers caught a big blue fish. He said there is a large school of them with a couple of bruisers in the bunch.
Side note: teenager said he was down there a couple a days ago and saw three guys catch a bunch of trout and drag out a three man limit. That is why he came back down there. I'm all for keeping your limit, but that is a small area with a limited influx of fish and I would think that could do real damage to the system. Rant over.

Oh, never made it to Salsa's. Late tide and had to get back to Baytown. Mom is in hospice care and was not having a good day.
