.....transferred to Sweeny....Was that a stab at me, Harvey? HAR! When I went to school in Sweeny, one of my 16 year old third grade classmates would have kicked that teacher's azz.

Sent this email this morning to the Superintendent and the principal:

I will remind you both that bullying is illegal in the state of Texas. In case you need a refresher here's a link:

This needs to be taken care of the very first thing Monday morning. My child is actually dreading going back to school because he doesn't know what's going to happen when he walks into his classroom.

I don't care if this guy is a math genius - if he's going to bully children then the district doesn't need him and he's chosen the wrong profession. At this point if he doesn't apologize to my son and straighten his act up immediately I will be forced to take more public and perhaps legal action. This is your one chance to make things right - don't screw it up.

I had an issue with my son learning some math in high school and went to his counselor. The counselor was so full of her self I had to talk to her supervisor to get anything done. You might want to consider talking to the principle in this case. Good luck. School should not be humiliating for kids especially at the hands of people that are supposed to be helping and mentoring them. If this fails I can help out with the teeth thing

The guy sounds like a prick alright, but how he made your son feel and what he actually said are two different things. Your email to the school should get results.

This gets my blood boiling. Not only can I relate but he must be one messed up sob to have gone through collage just to bully children.
I hope nothing short of him being fired and thrown in jail if at all possible honestly.
Who knows how many kids edjucations he's derailed!
If I had it my way we'd just toss people like this in a ditch after blowing them a new outlook... ya know , just to cut down on tax dollars trying to "rehabilitate " them.

Ha! Look at that ! I even mispelled college , case in point.
I had some really crappy teachers growing up and I've been borderline retarded ever since 😃

I hope that all of this has resolved. I think back to a time with one of my teen kids , I went to the school, and kicked up a ton of dirt, didnt yell or scream, or act bad, but I showed up , several times. Seems that the lobby is a place they really do not like parents to stay very long. Hard part was getting access, they kept me locked out side awhile each time. I remember my parents might have had their own parking spots at the schools I was in, Dad didnt like the bussing issues of mid 1970's
Good Luck, keep going down there.
