  • Talked to the Anahuac police a minute ago

They think someone might have run down from the frozen point area road while I was fishing and pulled it to their truck. This is concerning especially since someone said they saw a yak like mine leaving the refuge that evening. I'm waiting to hear from them but it was a fb response so who knows.
If it was stolen then look for one that has holes starboard for transducer cables and a hole in the console for the same . I filled then with water weld. I'll be looking on Craigslist for my stuff now. :/

Well I'm hoping (make a difference?) That it was a weird coincidence but it makes sense to me. And yeah, hang that sob and give me the rope too. If I weren't in good shape or properly geared up, twisted my ankle in the dark or any number of things this could have cost me a lot more than it has.

Being stolen would make sense. You DID have your stakeout pole pushed down 3 foot.

I was fooled by the marsh, I didn't realize I was within walking distance of bay trash.

It just seem like there is a lot of thieves that hangout around that area. Im leaning more to the side you will never get your equipment back. Let's get your equipment replaced asap so you can start your therapy sessions. To much riffraff in that area to expect a positive outcome. I'm plum pissed off about this pos taking your vessel while you are wade fishing. The bad part is this pos is a burden on tax payers once he gets caught. If he or she is lucky enough to get caught and not caught in the act and sodomized with a corky or a super spook. There is a special place for people like this.
