  • Is this the "gin clear" I hear about?

Went around SLP/bird island flats yesterday and found this. No fish to brag about, but enjoyed the scenery.

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. Ive spent about 4/5 of the last days all over west bay, north south east and west ends of it and id say that there is about 4-5 feet of perfectly clear vis right now. the last 4 days was perfect for making mental notes about the contours of the bottom and other structure/features.

Couple few years back I went all over Bastrop Bay finding oyster reefs. We had a good 8-10 foot visibility. I saw an oyster that I kid you not was about 8 inches long. It was really amazing to drift along and see the bottom that far down.
