I kayaked the beachfront today because it was so calm and green past the third bar, plus there were some birds working but turns out they were just eating these slimy eel/worm type things. New born eels ? I have no idea. They seemed to leave a trail and squiggled more than swam .

I think I know what you're talking about SaltyBass. I saw something in the canal on Sunday. Didn't know what it was, never seen one before. It was small & yellow and looked like a flat eel but not like the bigger round body eels we sometimes catch in there.
