  • when it blows it really blows

This morning i made a exutive decision to not make the trek to my parents down in south texas until christmas. So i took the family out to eat and a movie in texas city....that was great.....we left the movie and decide lets grab some more movies red box here we come.......rented two movies and jump back in car because it was windy.......old habits die hard as is customary i check the gauges and the car is overheating..looking back some flying debris hit underneath the car on the way.....so we proceed to the house stopping every mile or two to add water or stop and fill water bottles. On one of my stops waiting for the engine to cool down mom calls and said dad is on his way to going back into the hospital....has infection in blood and urine and running 102 fever.......he's been confined to a bed for over ten years....so were home bound for the holidays.......just felt good to make it home out of the brutal wind.....merry chritmas everybody.......

Sorry about your dad and the car hassle. I thought I was mending yesterday from this stupid head cold and stomach virus, but it has kicked in worse today. Oh well, could be alot worse. Merry Christmas, Chris !!

                  Reeltime:

That is good news about only $50 repair. Hope that your Dad gets better and you have a better week ahead! Take care.
