If I may, can I ask a few pre boat show questions?

    Good. Here they are:

    1. Best dead bait for hardheads.
    2. Potlicking etiquette.
    3. Which makes the best slick, WD-40, potato chips or nuisance trout.
    4. Best dove loads to use on gulls diving into my fishing spot.
    5. Best boat preparation techniques at the boat ramp. This includes, but is not limited to, 10-15 minutes of trailer backing, loading rods, food, ice chests, arguing with the wife, showing off my boat and talking about how good I fish and the spots I know to anyone that will listen. (Careful, I have experience here)
    6. Getting on plane when aground on a reef.
    7. Effective methodology on convincing others on fishing forums that I am a better fisherman than all of them.
    8. Most effective speed and prop depth for burning a shoreline (this one may upset the professional fisherman).
    9. Effective topwater lure retrieval in a heavy lightning storm during the months of July and August.
    10. Lastly, and I have more, how come they give tickets for keeping 84 trout that are shorter than 12". Geez.

They probably don't have a complete list yet. It usually gets published in the Chronicle a day or two before the show starts. I will try to get a complete schedule and post it the week the show starts. I'm sure that there will be plenty of good seminars, and always lots of cool new boats and equipment. Make sure that you come say hello.
