  • My wife has been replaced with someone else (FISHING GEAR)

I need to move fast here. My wife walks in out of the blue and says... Im tired of seeing you pout around because you broke your stupid favorite fishing rod.... I suddenly get full permission to go out today and get without any consequences attached.... A new custom rod and a reel to go with it. So tell me? If you had this kind of latitude to do this on the spur of the moment. what rod would you get and what reel. Im taking a poll cause im going shopping today before she changes her mind. I was thinking chronarch reel on a hookspit rod. get me some input quick. Im walking out the door in 30 minutes.

Loaded question. What type of fishing will you be doing? Will you be using terminal tackle? Are you fly fishing? Are you pier fishing? Please provide more information.
I have an uncontrolable desire to wanna jerk my rod.

I'd recommend you look at rods by pepper an compliment it with an ambassador 5500. This it's a great set up for someone just starting out an wanting to learn how to fish with artificial.

Most of the better artificial fishermen these days use either a 6'6" or 6'2". Why did you choose the 6'9"?

Guess I should change out my 7'6" lol. Went from popping strictly to using artificial so probably time for a change
