  • Sunday 11-2-13 report

Started out from 2004 around 6:30. With a SE wind I figured the red action would be pretty fair near Halls. My uneducated guess was correct for once ,,go figure. landed 5 reds ( 2 keeps) and too many dink specks to count. Great morning of fishing under the birds with a cork and gulps. Got home and both teams rained on my Sunday parade. Oh well still an awesome Sunday morning. Sorry for the foggy pic , fish slime on the lenses. Got me a go-pro and will be posting vidz soon once I figure it out.

"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. Sounds like a good day with plenty of hookups.

...Nice report. BUT, sure wish you guys would just say ya'll caught them "In Da Bayou"! Been fishing in that area since I was seven and it just kills me when either that guy that writes for the Galveston paper or someone else mentions the name of that pristine body of water. No offense intended, but let them think that you caught them in Chocolate or Bastrop!

Can't tell you how many times I have been down there at either the houseboat or the camp and noticed the increased pressure due to an article published in the Galveston paper or online in various forums.

We will be sitting on a corner....for example...by the county line marker on the South side of the bayou and have to grab the remote and hit warp speed to get out of the way of some Jackwagon in a hundred mile an hour bass boat...that has never been down there but knows there are fish in there since they read it and has no freakin' idea how to run the Bayou. Get all situated and then sit back and laugh when I hear that XP screaming her azz off as they can't figure out how to get through the flats!

....Just say you did some good catching "In Da Bayou" and if cornered....well, tell them you hit Chocolate!!

                    Seriously!!

Too funny! Bro I just said Halls area but you gave a pin point mark of where you fish. Cmon man. I at least waited until I got to the ramp before I took picks this time. Sorry if I am being to open about the fishing areas my intention was not intended to upset anyone.

It's where I fish 98% of the time my only problem with your post is if you were in one of my spots that I DID NOT read about in the paper to find lmao. He has a point about some of the jackwagons down there but hell they're everywhere I guess. Good report man and those gulp have been deadly over there
