Did anyone hear Paul on Doug Pikes show this morning? It was interesting hearing him talk about the history of the corkies. Sure is sad especially since I never got to go buy any from him. I just hope they'll be the same once they hit stores.

Paul has been around a long time and going to his shop and talking stories is great. Its gonna be missed by alot of folks.

When i was there last, he insisted that the lures will be exactly the same if not better. There is no reason to change anything, they will sell off the shelves by leaving them exactly the same. If they did change anything, it would most likely be the packaging.

i picked up almost 50.00 dollars worth today i think i'm gonna build a display for my collection and mount it on the wall in the house and come next year fish with new corky's. paul said that everything will pretty much stay the same with mirrorlure. btw there ain't much left.when i went today. hey michelle i met your friend there today.the color she picked up today is that the color you caught the big one with.

mirrorlure has always made good baits so im not too worried.. plus they sent me a free hat in the mail along with my catalog

here's an analogy of what it's like going to paul brown's. you go to the atm machine and get out a couple hundred bucks. then you go to your favorite dealer's house and watch several happy people coming and going, excited about their new fix. all types of drugs in colors and sizes, neatly packaged in small zip locks in precise weights. some get high (floaters) and some just barely levitate you (slow sinkers). when you leave you realize you;re an addict and you don't have enuf, but you're out of money and he doesn't take checks or credit cards. and to think it's all about fishing lures.......

that's funny. sneeky got on my boat last saturday with two tackleboxes that each weighed about 40 lbs. i'm sure most of it was corkys. i didn't want to look, figured i'd get jealous for sure.

I've always been amazed at people buying hundreds of dollars worth of Corkys at a time.....You can only fish one at a time!
