Quick question

I'm gonna be down there thursday and if the weather is right i would like to hit the gulf one day. My question is, i'm staying in jamaica beach. I am trying to decide whether to try and go out slp ( that looks like the channel moves and i have no clue where it is), head east up through west bay and out of galveston, or just trailer up to galveston bait and tackle and go out from there.

Or you could trailer down to surfside and go out the jetties!

From Jamaica beach you can go back to 8 mile road turn left to Steward St. Turn right and go down to 103rd St. And turn left till you hit the water. Park on the side and wade fish. If you bring the kayak, you can fish to the right or left. If you bring the boat, you have to ask someone that has one. Hope this helps. Lord Bless.
