  • Shallow water anchors

I'm starting to research shallow water anchor systems (Power Pole vs Talon) for my 20 Ft bay boat. From what I've read so far, the debate between PP and Talon is a bit like the .270 vs .30-06 debate... it's a matter of preference.

As for the depth of anchor I need to consider, if I'm fishing mostly West Bay... can I get by with an 8ft anchor or should I look at 10ft or 12ft?

    Thanks in advance,

    Buy a PP-that is a rec from a Talon owner-mine's busted twice.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

I atually opted for a Stick it Pin. It's a very good option.

as for your choices, i'd go with the PP. 8 should be good for west.
