Left out of Moses Lake this morning to perfect weather and conditions. Was telling my lady about fishing birds and that this was the time of year for it. Hit a couple reefs to no avail and decided to travel to the back water and lo and behold she spotted a flock and it was on. Despite a few backlashes and a line break I managed four keepers out of probably a dozen or so. The little brown shrimp were jumping out of the water so I guess the schoolies were herding up a batch. Lol. Fast and furious for maybe thirty minutes or so and it was over like a Saints football game. Fish were in 4 foot of water and a pearl/chartreuse Hogie swimming jack was my bait of choice. Nice morning! Thought I'd post a report up.
