  • Exploring Nature

Took my sight-seeing boat out this morning to explore the wildlife and wetlands. Everybody knows I'm an avid birder and naturalist. Spotted a bow-legged crane and a green-throated peckerwood right off the bat. The marsh is teeming with snot grass and the mud reeds are almost submerged with this high tide. Good thing I decided to appreciate nature this morning cause I DAMN SURE DIDN'T SEE ANY FARKING FISH!!!!!

(Trying to get my post count up!)

A bow-legged crane and a green-throated peckerwood right off the bat sometimes beats a stringer of wormy trouts and muddy Redfish.

....but what I enjoyed most was that gentle 40 MPH breeze this morning......I was hoping the weather forecast of 5-10 was a mistake.......

...and the most thrilling sighting was of a male Great Bearded Dodo that had landed in the front of Harvey's boat (it had it's chick with it, which must have taken after the female of the species, 'cause it was a cute little thing, much unlike the male parent).

Dang, Termo, for a while I thought you had a load of that leftover (sea) weed. Then I saw the pic and what a weathered flock that is!!!

While in my wetland habitat , I saw a boat wake past powered by the gentle breeze with the stooped occupant clawing futilely at a Gordian's Knot of a birds nest and shouting curses mercifully baffled and sent down wind . Lo , I mused , a red faced oath shrieking line plucker . I should have recognized you .
