Shrimp soaker mainly-I like cold beer, not bay water warm beer, so I stays in da boat, hold my mouf a certain way and imbibe while enjoying the time on the water-LIFE IS GREAT!!
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
I am 99% arties. I take a croaker trip every year and if I take the kids fishing I will use live for them.
100% for me. Teach them kids how to work a plastic. My 7 and 5 year old work them like champs. They think shrimp is for eating only. Start them off on DOA's under a mauler.
Croakers only here...I only fish May to September exclusivley to score BIG trout with croaks...there like candy to them and I I really enjoy catching and eating them Big girls. Its easy, just hook em on and let them do all the work.
You guys don't know what your missing!
Don't be a Nancy!
If it smells like fish....you know I've been there!
Nope. Arties almost all of the time especially in the bay, but I love soaking some dead shrimp in the early spring before all the bait stealers come in the surf and loading up on drum, reds, and sheepies.
I used to do the live shrimp thing for specks when the surf gets flat in the summer, but I have more fun with lures. Can be really effective at times though.
I suppose I use bait mostly offshore too when I'm wetting a line.
