Monster West Bay Trout

Was cruising the canals in Jamaica Beach late Sunday evening... saw a bunch of commotion under a house and saw a dude pull a monster trout out of a cooler. He brought it out to the edge of the dock and showed it off. 31.25" and I thought he said 8lbs. Unbelievable trout and the biggest I've ever seen with my own eyes.

Didn't get a pic but congrats to the lucky angler who landed it. They are out there fellas!

I caught one of my 30's in the main canal, Thanksgiving late 90's slow rolling a 51m, with a norther in progress. Rough & blowin'.

On those lazy day booze cruises we take up and down the canals I took the advice of my neighbor and tossed a chrome and green rattletrap behind the boat trolling on idle and picked up several niceties in harbor walk
