hey guys, I recently had the chance to take a little redfish trip with the master Steve Soule himself.
If any of you are actually thinking the fishing is over... the best part is just about to get started. Between now and December redfish will be on fire and the best it will get all year.
If anyone has catching a redfish on fly as a bucketlist item, now is the time to hit it. Can learn a lot from Steve too... he has great articles on his website http://www.theshallowist.com, but taking a trip with him is even better. The guy really wants nothing more than for you to learn and improve as an angler.
Pattern: redfish were in mixed grass with mud bottom. bright colored fly's did the trick. had to be well placed but steve can help coach you through learning to fly cast and put it on them as well.
