Good luck in the Tourney. Is that the one out of Sea Isle?

Snake Island can be great unless it's not, then it's bad. Tough to say how well it will fish this weekend. To be honest, I haven't done well there since last year. As hot as it's been, you might want to look for some deeper water - but don't listen to me. I don't catch very many fish.

He's right. Its a real hit or miss there. I live close to it and try and hit it now and again. But its not my first go to spot in that area. Shell island is right there close to it. It kind of just springs up right in the center of the bay its on your GPS or chart that may be a better place to start as there is some deeper water off its banks. I hear the hard sand bottom has been the ticket.

Theres normally atleast 5 boats in that cove if its thursday-sunday I drive past it everyday on my way home and on most days there are boats fishing it. Not saying theres no fish there just that it can get crowded and in my opinion isn't worth fishing when corwded. I'd try to find somewhere less crowded but that will be easier said than done on a weekend. Goodluck!

I have a house overlooking that area and there is almost always at least a boat or two in it. I rarely fish it anymore there are some decent fish in there though!

Welcome ! Trout and reds were caught there this week by a friend . Worth your while to check out but always no gaurentee . Tides and conditions could be different and fish will just be fish and disappear .

Pressured beyond all belief. I walk in there if I'm bored but it's a pretty long walk and even on weekdays I see 2+ boats in there. Good for reds. If I were you I'd look for hard sand, deeper water and active bait somewhere between snake and the pass.
I set my hook like I am fishing for tuna even if I am fishing for trout. Call me tuna Joe!
