You gave up fishing right after the fall run? That shows intelligence. I have faith in you. You should be back in the saddle right before the end of summer. But did you really have to do this. When I was studying for the bar exam I would hit Rice library in the morning by 9am and if I got 8 hours of studying in I would reward myself with a wading trip to Texas City dike before rush hour traffice. I did that about three times a week for three months. And I passed by over 100 points. Hell, I should have fished more. Of course, I didn't have a job. Or a wife, or a girlfriend. That explains why I landed more beer than fish. Oh well.

So I gave up fishing this past December to pass my CPA test... I cheated twice in March and both times i caught nothing and on one trip the boat trailer crapped out on me... so i guess the fishing gods were not kind and didnt want me fishing..

Well, after 10 long months i just found out i PASSED!! Boat is out of the garage, gonna take it into the shop to fix the trailer & a tune up, and them im gonna hit the water! Damn its been a long time.

Congrats. That CPA is worth some money so you might as well trade it in for a bigger boat.

Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear.

WTG Slyell!! The wife sold your boat, pawned your reels and threw away your tackle-no problem, you can get new-new wife I mean! then buy a new boat, reels and tackle and can fish on her birthdays from now on!!

serially, great going and good fishing to you!
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

I made a similar deal with myself and set a goal of getting the camp finished first. I cheat a little here and there, mostly throwing out a few casts under the lights. I've been workin' on my goal for over 2 years now. But I see myself fishing in a few months. Here's to you achieving a huge goal! Now, can you do our taxes here for us for a discount?
