  • Where has time gone???

Seems like just yesterday I was sitting on the bank of a pond in San Antonio with my son in my lap teaching him to fish. Well yesterday I had a flashback to that day when I watched my son teaching my granddaughter how to fish. She turned one on Friday and I got her a rod and loaded tackle box for her birthday. I went along with the two of the to take video and some pictures. My son is 28 now and today I think back to when he was one and sitting on my lap.....Where has time gone???

Precious memories. A video or kodak moment can never capture the joy of that moment. I look forward to doing the same for my grandson who turns 1 (one) in October. Carpe Diem!

Great pics. What happened to the youngster holding the baby in the first pic. I think someone modified the second pic. Yep, we are getting older. I blinked, coughed, and sneezed. Now I'm 60 going 61 in 3 more months. I'm afraid to blink, cough, sneeze. I might be 100 by then. Lord willing I still have good health and fishing. Hope you have a fabulous time with the grand kids. Teach them when they're young, and they'll teach their kids. Lord Bless.

Thanks everyone for all the great comments!!!
All I can say is thankfully there is easy video these days to capture these moments. Wish I would have had video when my son and daughter were first learning to fish. Does make a lifetime flash in front of your eyes with these memories come rushing back to you.
