Come on brother. You know to be more careful than that. Accidents happen of coarse. But all us waders know this damn bacteria can get us at anytime. Im very thankful your ok. But that one was too close for comfort. Scary. After reading this I soaked my breathable waders in the tub with tide. No more wet wading for me this summer. I'd rather sweat a little.

I've had a swollen finger for two weeks after a flounder chewed on me while I was trying to remove the hook. Soaked it in hot water to let it drain and put antibiotic ointment on it. Repeated that for several days without much improvement and began to think it might be something serious. Then I began coating it in salt. Painful, but it worked, stabbing over with the thrombin going away.

Epson salt too but this time of yr its not safe to let a unhealed wound from the salt water go without a dr and antibiotics.
