I've used the rod about 7-10 times. It was rigged with a 1/8 oz. egg sinker and a small croaker on it (yep, croaker soaker) and set the hook and watched 5' fall down the line (12# ande with 15# flouro shock leader). It's never been in a boat on a hiway-my boat hangs in lift and rod was stored with others downstairs-the way it snapped was not like any rod I ever broke and I really like the rod.

It would have made me smile if I broke it beating some Libtard sunbeach with it, but alas, that was not the case. For Libs, I use a 4' tuna Stick-it doesn't hurt them because they have no brains to injure or knock out.

I sure like Laguna Rods-am darn serious-great balance, great lightweight rod, well-made (other than the 'snap' which I truly believe was a freak deal) and great action.

Thanks Sisco Kid and others-I'll get the info off the rod this weekend and call that number.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

not a fare statement all these rodbuilders are using the same componets for.the most part 9 out of 10 breaks are the users fault whether you want to beleive it or not how many times you bang your rod or drop it or set the hook and hit something that all factures in people need to quit bkaming the rod builder if it was a defect the rod will break under its first heavy load

Almost every builder will get a batch of bad blanks sooner or later. If you buy 1 or 2 at a time or ten at a time maybe not. Laguna had a bad batch some years back as I recall.
