  • Laguna Rod-Snapped like a wounded Duck's neck!

My Laguna Rod from Daileys Hunt N Fish that I got at a FWE function snapped in two Sunday am on a trout. It snapped about 1 foot above the handle, which is not where I'd expect it to break. I was setting the hook and 'snap' and the top 5' fell into the water. Hoping I still had the fish, I reeled and then saw nada-dammit!!!

Does anyone know if Laguna warranties their product?

It's a nice skeleton model, grey with black guides, 7' light action.

    Thanks.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

For many small rod makers, a source of dependable blanks is a huge problem. The majority are made overseas and bad batches are all too common.

They don't always break under a load the first time.
