  • Building a house on the West End

Hey folks I'm buying a lot and building in Bay Harbor, anyone have any builder recommendations/advice? Also, it looks like we'll need septic until the city sewer is run out there (supposed to be in the next 5 years according to the agent) any recommendations/advice?
    Thanks

We used United Bilt. They did OK, though as with any contractor with subs, watch them carefully.

They recommended a sanitarian for the septic install and although the system they installed had issues, I revamped the aeration system and it works quite well now.
If you are reasonably handy, you can do your own septic maintenance after taking a one time training course at the A&M Extension and save a lot of bucks over the long term. You're onsite system will be licensed through the County Health Dept.

Don't hold your breath on the sanitary sewer install.
