Kid Fishin' and Trout Support

A few kid reports had me pumped to get the kids out fishing last week. The little one was the only one available and we found a small school of reds in the lake. I was able to anchor up perfectly to keep her in the catching zone. She pulled two nice ones out of the school with a few bait stealers as well. Fun, fun, fun!

I'm not new to catching redfish, but those videos were very helpful in making some memories. I used the information to plan my trip and the fish were right where they should have been according to the DVD's. It was great to watch my little one fight those reds and hopefully one will have a tag on it this year.

Those videos are awesome....I bought the "catch a limit of trout" DVD and put the lessons to use (I'd never even heard of a trout slick!). I waded the flats by San Luis after watching the video and ended up with 7 trout, 2 reds and doormat flatty!!!...I'll be getting the other DVDs soon, great info!!

The kid trips are the best and they sure pick it up quickly. The girls are pointing out slicks and diving birds as we cross the causeway bridge going to and from Galveston. I'm trying to drive and they are screaming, "look, look!" It's as bad as driving down the seawall.
