PREJEAN'S in Lafayette is super ... Google it for great reviews . Plow through my thread NEW ORLEANS RESTAURANT CRAWL from our February New Orleans trip . It has pictures of what we ate at what restaurants . MR. B' s BBQ shrimp is outstanding . I'll post it up for you .

In New Orleans, if you like strong drinks, order a Monsoon at Port of Call. 838 Esplanade Ave. They put it in a to go cup
They make a great burger too. Don't forget to get coffee and beignets at Cafe Du Monde. Get there early as there is always a line.

The Best Stop is our favorite as well.Originally posted by Walker View PostStop at the The Best Stop in Scott, La. (Hwy 93 exit, just west of Lafayette) for the BEST pork cracklins ever. We don't pass either way without stopping for a bag of them.

You might want to give Mulates in Breaux Bridge ( just out of Lafayette before the swamp) a try. Nice spot if you like Cajun cuisine.
