Flatties and Shad

Crappie wedge tail is what I throw when they are on shad.

1/8 oz. silver spoon should match it very well. I know it's not most people's go to bait, but they are timeless lurers.

I've used the CAL or any 3 inch paddle tails or 3 inch shads. I've caught from 10 inch to 23 inch flounder, trout, and reds. Fish them real slow like you're fishing in the winter. If you miss the bite, throw it again, but slow it down even more. Works for me. Try it. Hope this helps. Lord Bless.
