  • So do you think we are having a seaweed problem in Galveston??

Everyone has seen it on the beach front and if you have driven around 61st street and the seawall lately, you will gag because it smells so much. Well, we have lived here for 6 years now and I have never seen it come into the canals. This SW wind is bringing it in and I sure hope it leaves soon!!

It's not a pleasure lately! Last month, I had to replace all 6 batteries in the golf cart, have my motor worked on and last week, the AC went out. I guess the grass is greener on the other side

That is a lot of weed in your canal! I bet it gets pretty ripe when the wind backs off. Hang in there man!

Bag it and sell it on eBay as "Texas Weed" but use a Denver P.O. Box.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Tell me about it. Less boat traffic is nice though.

Weed ain't no big deal. It will decompose soon enough. I do wish they just left it on the beaches instead of dozing it off. Holds in the sand and builds the beach up really well.
