I'm thinking about going on the 12 hour and I wanted to know if I will get an opportunity to catch any dorado?

I'm planning on a late July or early August date. If I need to wait until the fall I will, but the target species for me is the dorado.

Not a lot of chance in my opinion on a head boat - it's normally snapper and ling / king - kinda hard to work a weed line with 50 guys on a boat. Best bet is a private charter - if you get 5 other guys to split costs it's not all that much more than the head boat trip and you can target whatever fish you want.
