Actually, it's ok to look way bay... most things under the water don't change very rapidly. Granted there might be some change. The only thing that changes quickly is the grass growth and tha can change season to season so G E isn't that reliable for that... grated it's fairly predictable where it's going to grow or not.

Trseato , your date line goes to 1/2014 . Mine ends at 2012 . Do you have Google Earth Pro ?

I don't think so. This is the image I get when I open it. It shows a 2014 copyright. I am using it with Garmin HomePort so that may make a difference.

The dates dont always line up with when the photo was actually taken; ie Google may have bought the rights to the image in 2014 but the actual image date maybe 2012. Try maps.bing.com, I like their birds eye imagery a lot better than google's and it tends to be more up to date.
