Texas City Dike Question

I have fished the Dike one time at night under the lights. That time I went all the way to the end of the east side of the dike over by the boat ramp. Typically speaking, does it matter where on the dike you fish or do the fish move up and down the dike. Do you prefer the rock side or the sand side? Seems like the lights set up better on the west side, the rocks. Who fishes there and what do y'all think...

Close to the end on the west side or at the very end.

Definitely the channel side or west side. Genny driven lights will bring em in. I've always done better on incoming water also. Be aware of the large tankers wake and don't put gear too close to waters edge. I learned the hard way years back. Lots of small rocks so expect to get hung up, up and down the dike.
