Had an unexpected opportunity to fish Sunday A.M. Fished from 6:30 to 11:30. Nice morning to be on the water and managed 8 fish total. Started out in Snake Island cove, 3rd cast slot red took a black back/chrome skitterwalk, then a small trout, and 19" red all fish in 2' of water. Bite slowed, headed to a North shoreline and 0 fish. Went back to the south shoreline and fished Maggies with no takers. Went back to Snake Island and landed 5 fish. Nice 24" trout and another slot red were in the mix. fishing in 3' of water. Fish caught on 1/8" jig/ Tidal Surge Split tail Red Shad. Keep two for the grill. Click image for larger version
