Anyone heading out this morning? I just need a little encouragement to get me to drag the boat out with my aching bones……. Good incoming current from 6a to 11a….

Caught two rat reds, 18 and 19 on the North shoreline using pearl chartreuse plastic. I caught them at Caranchuwa cut. Some jerk bait cut me off when I was clearly on the West side of the cut saying I was IN the cut. He came between a wader and his boat as well. I called him some nasty, nasty words…. South shoreline had some very good looking water around Dana's if you look hard enough but I could not get a bite to save my life. A kayaker had and another boat had the same deal… It rained a little but nothing big. In the water at 730 and out at 1130.
On another note David caught two idiots stealing a kayak from a boat at Waterman's. He chased them while calling the cops and eventually nabbed the couple…
On still another note the beach looked a little rough with a lot of seaweed. Looked like it was trying to clear up.
One last note… There was a huge, huge raft of seaweed in West Bay...

More seaweed in mid West Bay than I have ever seen.....and that's a long time!

Nice report. Weekends always seem to have rude or just plain ignorant boaters.
That's one one the reasons I do almost all of my fishing at night during the summer.
I can only fish on weekends because of work.
Glad they caught the Kayak thieves too.

I keep saying I am going to fish at night but never seem to have the gumption to go….. Give me a ring the next time you decide to go at night and we can go in my rig Root Canal.

Why are your bones aching young man ?! Thanks for the report . Reading reports , it seems one had to be at the right place . Sometimes it's chicken , other times it's chicken feathers .

Samaritan award to Dave for chasing down the thieves. There's always someone who thinks they can take what someone else has worked hard to obtain. I'll buy you a drink if we ever meet.
