The webcam hasn't updated since this morning. Does anyone know if the green water is back to the Beach or at SLP? I'm thinking about getting out the this evening. Thank you.

If I was to get out this evening, I would wade out to the second bar in SLP about 50 yards this side of the old SLP Pier (thats on the Brazoria County side). In my experience that spot is especially good on an outgoing tide, which is what you would have this evening. Throw a 3/4 oz gold spoon at a 45 degree angle back towards the bridge and reel back with the current pretty fast. The good thing about this spot is regardless of the velocity of the winds, as long as the wind is out of the south or even southwest, the force of the outgoing tide will beat down the swells. Even though I have never felt threatened by the currents at that spot, please do as I always do, and WEAR A PDF!

Thank you. I was thinking about setting up the lights on the jetty if the water is green. I dont mind the seaweed out there.
