Attention, my sister went surfing yesterday in Pirates Beach and cut her foot. Now she is at Methodist hospital with a vibrio infection. Watch out for it. The water is warming up and it is showing up. Be safe out there.

She is at Methodist and they are pumping her full of antibiotics. The MD said that they caught it early.

I remember when I would get a cut when I was a kid, Dad would tell me to go scrub it out in the bayou. The salt water was good for it. Cuts healed faster. These days, not the case anymore.

How do they know what it was ? Was it a big cut ? Did she feel bad quickly ?

I am just curious ,as I do not know symptoms and being hard headed, I might not seek treatment as fast .
