..and this reminds me of the first time I got a hook in me . I was walking the rocks of the south jetty flinging a Topwater . I hooked a trout , line taut , and it comes unhooked . Like a rubber band the Top Dog comes flying at my head . I raised my left arm and it smacks me there Imbedding a hook in my forearm . It could have been my face . I tried pulling it out but your skin stretches inches without it coming out . I started to get light headed so I laid down on the wet , green slim rocks with waves lapping gently around me . A guy down the way was giving me side glances . I finally waved him over and I pushed the hook through the skin and had him cut the tip with barb off with cutters I had on me . ....my second adventure in stupidity involves a flounder in a supporting role .
