My friend and I would like to go kayak fishing this weekend I live in Sea Isle and I would like to know where we could go around that area also about the lures or to use live bait I am kinda new to west bay and need a little help!

Snake island cove is to your East and is a great area to cover in a yak. I'd offer advice on bait and lures, but I don't fish bait often and last weekend I fished for 7 hours with lured and only got one bump.

Snake island cove like me Bruce said and I would use gulp shrimp under a popping cork and also you can try bumping it along the bottom on a jig head. Try that and you should get some results, good luck!

Get you some split shot, # 6 treble hooks, and a couple dozen croakers. Can't miss. That's how the fishing elite do it. Lmao

Mini-x pegged it. I also like corkys in there.

Go to the Sea Isle fishing pier and at the base is a trough in the rocks facing Snake Island Cove that you can slide your kayak down . Paddle east and fish around the shell island , the marsh on the way , and the back of the cove . Good luck !
