  • LOOKING FOR SOMETHINGor SOMEONE A LITTLE ODD BUT very cool!

I used the title to get your attention:
    Listen Guys,
I was cleaning out a closet in the man cave and I stumbled upon these three very large black plastic bags. It was obvious that there was something pretty heavy in each bag , so I drug them out and tor one open. The minute I opened it I was flooded with a sea of memories as there where 3 - 2' x 3' x 2' tall white boxes in each one. You see I was a little bit of a collector of things and was very meticulous about whatever it was that I got into. This was the re-find of the century as it was my 5 generation of mint condition comics. I cannot describe to you the very excellence in condition and complete this collection is. From Superman and Louis tales #5, #1 peter parker tales of spider man to #1 xmen and wolverine from the 60's. Some comics date as far back as 1941. The majority where bought by me when I was very young at this old ladies estate yard sale. She thought I was sweet and gave me her grandsons collection. I didn't know at the time but I kept them all in there original plastic covers and only read them once. I know how we anglers are and we love to collect and keep cool stuff, so what im looking for now is someone out there who really knows anything about this type of collector comics. send me a message.

Cool! Wish I still had a few of mine. They weren't mint by the time I was though with them.

Go to Barnes and noble and get an overstreet comic book pricing guide. Don't bother with the others overstreet is the best. In recent years people have been taking their comics and cards in to get "graded". This is a 1 to 10 scale of condition that can either really help or hurt depending on your books. A book that grades 10 could be worth many times the overstreet value. If you're pricing out of the book is just figure near mint for decent estimate of value. Most collectors will bullchit you on value trying to get a good deal. They do have to turn a profit too though but I wouldn't settle for anything less than 75% of listed price if you're selling.
      Shut up and FISH!!
