Looks like it all fell apart before it got here.

Sure did Sandy. I was watching it on radar and the west end of the storm fell apart when it reached Houston.

It can get gusty with squall lines cropping up anytime this time of year... thanks for the heads up.

For once the NWS called it right about the storms dying out around Houston area. We were out there bout 7 and waited it out and by dark you couldnt see the end of your cast in the thick fog. Still kinda eerie with the lightining in the distance lighting the fog up couldnt tell where it was coming from thank goodness for cells. We finished up bout 3am fish were blowing up on the sand eels coming to the surface which made it hard to get them to bite but did manage 15-20 trout to 6 lbs. Threw everything in box and think i caught one on everything.

Had some crazy looking clouds in the woodlands last Friday. It def. looked like it wanted to drop a funnel down.

I kayaked Pirates Friday dawn to dusk . Fog was heavy AM and PM but a good weather day all in all . I didn't do all that well . Managed 5 keeper trout 15-17 inches with more throw backs . Glad that storm didn't make it through . I checked the IPhone radar when I saw clouds . Nothing developed on west bay . Hadn't had the time to post proper reports last several trips .
