Thinking of getting one of these to install on my little whaler. I know the hydraulic one would be a lot better but from what I hear, installation is easy ( 45 minute job?). Let me hear the pro's and con's from some of you. Although my tilt is working, I have a o-ring problem of leaking by and think the jackplate may help in the short term.

Knew a guy who had one on a home made scooter and it worked well. Problem is not a fast thing, have to adjust it every time you want it to run different. But its better than not having one or using the old spring loaded pin...as small as your boat is shouldn't be that much to adjust it.

Had one on the Anudda Ugly Mudda. It worked great. BUT you cannot adjust them while on the water. At least you couldn't adjust that one on the water. You had to get to it from underneath, so you had to get out of the boat. It was set at the perfect position when I got the boat and I never changed it.From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
